As passionate as you are about MS software, I cannot for the life of me believe that you don't already have a few Technet accounts.

    I like this news.

Microsoft's not helping me like Win8 with its absolutely horrible looking interface. Metro is probably the only thing I'm decently fine with.

It appears I already signed up for one a while ago! Then my body will be waiting for it to appear through TechNet.....as well as some product keys.....

Wow! What it is to have a comfortable budget! For private reasons, I have needed Technet pro account for some years. But even now, I do notice the outgoing cash from my bank account at renewal time!!
Even more certain, having paid for it, I certainly get some use out of it and I doubt, even at my age, there would never come a time when I was not aware if I had a current account or not - lol

Yeah, I've never met anybody who had a Technet account and didn't know about it. Something doesn't sound right there.

Yeah, it's not like they give them away. You don't get access to those keys just by signing up.

So, clicking "sign in" logged me into TechNet through Windows Live, but it looks like I need to set up a TechNet profile. I guess I need that, too, if I want any keys with the downloads, right?

I'd love to get my hands on the final RTM build of 8, no matter which one it is (the number, I mean)

You have to pay $199 for the first year of Technet standard of $349 for a professional subscription to Technet.
