I tried saving some files to skydrive from Office 2013 at workplace PC and open it from home PC. It was OK. I will just leave it for practical alternative when needed someday.

How is it compared to Google's apps in the clouds, Kevin?

I don't know. Do you have Google apps account? I ever signed one up for free trial but unable to complete the verification though had uploaded their site verification html.

So far I tried to live with offline storage (no need to spend money on it)

Robin? What is the Service Pack *SP* you have on that Vista install? Should of installed seamlessly in Vista.
That was with all the Vista service packs installed, tried it again and got this message,

Isn't it mentioned somewhere in this forum that it requires Win 7 or newer?
    I got this from Technet

Hard Disk 3.0 gigabytes (GB) available
Display Graphics hardware acceleration requires a DirectX10 graphics card and 1024 x 576 resolution
Operating System Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2012
Browser Microsoft Internet Explorer 8, 9, or 10; Mozilla Firefox 10.x or a later version; Apple Safari 5; or Google Chrome 17.x.
    .NET version 3.5, 4.0, or 4.5
Multi-touch A touch-enabled device is required to use any multi-touch functionality. However, all features and functionality are always available by using a keyboard, mouse, or other standard or accessible input device. Note that new touch features are optimized for use with Windows 8.
Additional requirements and considerations Some functionality may vary, based on the system configuration. Some features may require additional or advanced hardware or server connectivity. See http://www.office.com/products for more information.

Mike, So it's clear that Vista isn't included for Office 2013 preview.

    Right, you are Kevin.

*EDIT* Just finished talking to MS Office customer support, asking as why Vista isn't included with this beta test. The Official answer is
Not enough of Windows Vista units were sold, and Office 2010 will still be viable for Vista till end of product life.

I've just received an email from Microsoft with a link to download Office 2013 RTM Evaluation (I'm currently evaluating The Preview). I'm downloading it now, but I'm confuse, it doesn't say if I have to uninstall the Preview first or install on top of it? Can anyone enlighten a little fellow? :)
Last summer, when office 2013 preview first came out, I opted for the binary download. I believe it was an exe file and I still have a copy of the download. But yesterday I opened up OneNote, I got prompted for an activation key. The only thing that I think might have triggered that, was that I...

Well, one of my prayers has been answered. You can disable the animations and the smooth typing "feature" of the Office 2013 Preview. When you can type fast, that smooth animation appears like a delay and the cursor is unable to keep up with your typing. Very annoying. It's a registry change...
Just wondering, what is the evaluation period for Office 2013 Customer Preview? Thanks in advance :D
