I want to first know if it is going to go smoothly with no issues on upgrade anyway, than to worry about clean install. I do have a Windows 8.1 Disc, so not much worry.

You're welcome. Sorry, I thought you did not know about this since you said that you were worrying about a clean install after and that there is no way yet.

EDIT: Ah, now I understand what you meant after reading your second post

It's o.k., we would all like to do a clean install gets rid of all excess clutter of upgrade. Point being for now have to buy Windows 10 disc. Remember this with Windows 8 to 8.1 able to finally do clean install afterwards. I postponed again and had to uninstall my AV first make sure i am set, but now not getting the prompt countdown i had before yet.Although set for 6pm.

I remember that I was able to do a clean install of Windows 8.1 by just typing in my Windows 8 key when I have booted the Windows 8.1 setup from the USB with Windows 8.1 ISO on it.

No, I don't have that directory. I'm asking it on tenforums.com, hopefully they can solve this.

The Windows 10 ISO is already out ! -
Installing Windows 10 using the media creation tool - Windows Help

But be aware of the clean restrictions pointed out before. Upgrade THEN clean install with current 8.1 key -

    Note

    • If you upgraded to Windows 10 on this PC by taking advantage of the free upgrade offer and successfully activated Windows 10 on this PC in the past, you won't have a Windows 10 product key, and you can skip the product key page by selecting the Skip button. Your PC will activate online automatically so long as the same edition of Windows 10 was successfully activated on this PC by using the free Windows 10 upgrade offer.
