    MS Privacy Policy Update

Does anyone think it strange that MS is changing its PrivacyPolicy and at the same time giving away the newest version of Windows?

I didn't really pay attention, what were some of the major concerns people have with this new privacy policy?

    Win 8.0

I really haven’t read through the whole thing (it’s long)but it just seems strange that the new Service Agreement and Privacy Statementtake effect the day after the release of Win10, making me wonder what I mightbe signing away with Win10. I have Win8.0and have been annoyed by the constantly appearing popups for the Win 8.1upgrade. I almost wonder if Win8.1 and10 have an imbedded snoopbot tracking our every move. I know I’m paranoid! I was hoping someone in this forum (a lawyer)had read the new policy so I wouldn’t have to.

I agree. I thought about reading it, but they just make it too long. I wish that there was some conciseness requirement that these things would have to meet.

I started to read it but got bored right around the no artificial colors or flavors were used part.

    Windows 8.1

I expect this system for a long time! For the reason that Windows 8.1 contains too many bugs, which annoys me most.

Besides its new interface is really concise, and I like it very very much!

I agree that, functionally, Windows 10 is far superior; that's why I'm upgrading no matter what. It was the same deal with Windows 7 to Windows 8. I, unlike everybody else, apparently, love the Ribbon in File Explorer. However, I simply don't like the way it looks in terms of pure aesthetics... at all. I feel like the icons (the ones in the most updated version, anyway, in the "Fast Ring") are pretty ugly and just like Aero Glass quite a bit. Seriously, would there be any drawbacks for Windows to give us the option to pick how we want Windows to look?

If they made Tablet Mode the Windows 8.1 Start Screen/All Apps Screen I'd be happy with that. Then leave it as it is now when not in tablet mode. just my 2 cents.

    Will I get Windows 10?

    Hello everyone.
I also haven't read every post in the thread but I have a couple of questions.
I am running windows 8.1 in a virtual machine on a Mac. Specifically I am using the program Parallels to do this. Also, I get all the windows updates for both windows and office.

I haven't seen the windows 10 upgrade icon, anyone know if I will get it?

Anyone know if I will be able to get the win 10 upgrade?
