Microsoft alters Laptop Hunter ad due to Apple's r

New Laptop Hunter:
Microsoft's Laptop Hunter range of advertisements are quite popular; their goal is to show consumers how much money can be saved if you choose to purchase a computer packing the Windows operating system over an Apple branded one. Recently though, Apple made some price drops, and it seems it wasn't just to please consumers... they wanted those advertisements gone. Whilst that hasn't exactly been achieved, Electronista is reporting that they may have gotten the next best thing.

After making said price drops, it was reported that Apple's PR contacted Microsoft's COO Kevin Turner directly and told him that the advertisements need to be removed. This apparently made him quite pleased, as it showed they were working, though nobody said whether or not the request would be fulfilled; as you can see, it hasn't.

Ha ha ha. I knew apple wouldn't like those new ads. I think they illistrate MS's point excellently.

I doubt Microsoft liked those Mac VS PC ad's too. Apple needs to suck it up and live with it.

Lol - I had a nice Dell desktop PC. Apart from only having 512mb RAM causing the occasional crash, it was pretty reliable. True, I had to upgrade it to 2gb RAM, and I reloaded Windows on quite a few times, but I think these were down to my fault and not the computers ;)

sigh....Apple users HATE these ads and dismiss them or criticize them EVERYWHERE....However, Since te price for macs is dropped BECUZ of these ads, I cant see apple users complaining.....(but they will always find something to complain about :D)

My Computer

ad change...

I thought the ad change was a nice step by M$, but not necessary, Apple sure didn't tone their ads down when they aired!

Guess that's one up for M$...
