I've seen a six-year-old Toshiba touchscreen laptop that can be folded into a tablet PC. And back years away one product of NEC folded laptop also. But both ended up with no market.

Leave laptop as it is, and let touchscreen for tablet.

That sounds fair to me so far.

Price is not always a reason to purchase something; I have a Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook and my wife a Mac Air, and frankly I don't understand why someone will want an old style heavy laptop if they want a mobile solution if he have the budget for a ultrabook. Of course if you leave your laptop always at the same place, a 17" one is probably best.

I never did care about the price if it means I can have the features I want in something. Hell I have been waiting for touch screen books to become the norm.

I'm not really sure how to describe it any other way. The screens have been freaking out since I installed windows 8. I had it successfully running for about 10 minutes before this happened. I am now unable to get to the login screen without this happening. I've been having issues for some time...
I'm wondering because from my understanding, System builder version is usually 25% cheaper than the upgrade version; so according to my math the Win 8 system builder should be $30. I have a pretty hard time believing this.

Hi guys!, I know its a bit early yet and I'll have to wait quite a while but, I wanted to know what would the average cost of a Windows 8 Laptop be? Or just the cost of upgrading from Windows 7 to 8. Anyone will do, Because it gives me time to save up :D. Regards, Cheater
