    Today is the next step in bringing Office to everyone and on every device with the start of Office for Android tablet preview, new Office for iPhone apps, updated Office for iPad apps and more.

    The new Office for iPhone apps for Word, Excel and PowerPoint offer the same beautiful iPad experience, optimized for the iPhone. Customers can download the new apps today.

    2nd screenshot reminds me of some WYSIWYG newsletter creator back in the DOS/Win3.11 days when WYSIWYG was the new hip thing (as opposed to MS-DOS text editors like WordPerfect 5.1)...

    Yes, Lotus 1-2-3 v3x and WordPerfect 6x looked like that.

Sorry, but bringing back the Start menu won't help Windows 8 | ZDNet For what it's worth I mainly agree with him... I wouldn't bring back the Start Menu, but I'd definitely bring back the concept of a single Taskbar that was always visible across the whole OS.
