    You're late to the party. It's a rumor that has been around for a long time, but has never been officially confirmed. So don't get your hopes up.

    When 8.1 came out, didn't Microsoft tell users of Vista and XP that, in order to upgrade to 8.1, they should purchase Windows 8 first? I guess that approach is gone now?
