RC will have flatter Explorer, new icons, new cursors, new controls

I hope the "new icons" mean removing the Aero iconography and replacing them with the modern metro iconography.

I'm kind of excited, but at the same time; I have expectations that could be a let down...

I don't know what you meant with "Metro iconography" because as far as I'm concerned, Metro uses tiles, not icons and I can't imagine what Metro style icons could be. And I don't really like flat-colored icons (like those on phones) on my Desktop.
