    Everything runs in a window:
Apps from the Windows Store now open in the same format that desktop apps do and can be resized and moved around, and have title bars at the top allowing for maximize, minimize, and close with a click.

I am looking forward to this feature in Win 10

Wait 'til they release Windows Server Edition X, or as it'll be abbreviated to...

As reported in the internet, the reason there is no Windows 9 is:

    7 8 9

No matter the number, it seems that they adressed most of the demands: resizeable metro apps, the real start menu is back, option to start with Start Screen or Desktop etc. That's realy new from Microsoft! I'm very glad of it. Common sens prevailed.

I've been using Windows since 3.0 and MS-DOS 2.1 before that. I'm looking forward to Windows 10. I'm currently using Windows 8.1.

Testing forum software, debating on the "next OS", reading scoop news articles, and playing word/pic games. You ought to check it out.

Thank you, i might do that.

Yes we started with a Adam, we learned CP and how to copy magazine articles to create programs LOL we were even able to upgrade to a floppy hard drive to store data much faster than tape but less space.

Built an 8088 from parts ordered from Computer Shopper, that was my first real PC. One floppy drive to boot from. Then got another floppy drive and thought I was big time. Eventually got a huge 5MB hard drive and was in heaven.
