Windows Phone 8.10.14157.200 Preview for Developers Update

For those that have the Preview for Developers app installed on their Windows Phone 8.1, a new 8.10.14157.200 OS version has been released today on August 20th 2014 and now available.

Currently, there is not much information about the change log for the 8.10.14157.200 build, but it seems to bring performance improvements and address bug issues, given the size of the download, reports WPCentral.

    Thanks, Shawn.

Woke up this morning with a notification that this update was ready to install. Surprised on how fast they're moving with updates. It installed without a hitch in 13 minutes via WiFi connection. So far so good. Posting from it having my coffee basking in the morning sun on the patio deck.

The only thing I've noticed so far is that IE seems quicker to load pages and it was quick already. Will report back on any others I may find.

I'm still waiting for AT&T to release Win 8.1 for my Nokia Lumia 920.... I am thinking my contract will be up before that happens (November 22nd). I'll be switching to Verizon after that....

I have a Icon on Verizon and still waiting on 8.1 also. I really hate reading about all the improvements I can't get.

Kind of strange, Art. I'm AT&T, but with the 1520 DP program.

It should be available, although the Cyan firmware update is under testing: Availability in North America - Nokia

Is yours listed there, Jim? What color?

Kind of strange for both of you. Both are available, unless it depends on the Cyan update release. Don't know that much about it to know.

8.1 DP is available for anyone, this is the developers preview and is updated direct from MS (this is currently on Update 1 of it)

8.1 Cyan update is the latest official update and is provided by your carriers, the Cyan part is from the carrier and optimises the phone for their network

MS released it to the the cellular vendors and the the vendor has to test it and then release it to their clients. The cellular vendor has the final say as they are the ones that have to support it.
