And still, what we have is actually different than what ms is saying or other people are explaining - we have one os with the same GUI, which is really bad, and one core doesnt mean much, as versions for different architectures has different programs.

Yeah but that same App from the App store should work on your Windows Phone and your RT tablet and your Windows PC. You'll also have the same GUI across all devices. The user experience will be very close to the same across all devices. You still won't be able to run your desktop software on your Phone or RT device but that's the nature of the beast. Office will be fully ported to Metro and likely some other Microsoft software too. It looks like you may get your "Start Menu" back too, if that's what you want. It's not something I need or want so hopefully its an option that can be disabled.

Actually i dont really believe in ms, there is many really good free alternative start menu programs, but even then its not the case for, its hundreds of other things, that makes windows dumber. Its funny, it looks like "dumb and dumber to" is a story of gates and balmer
