Being able to resize the Window Metro Apps run in, like you can for desktop programs, works for me. I'm not sure I want the new Start Menu though. Hopefully that's something you can turn off if you want.

The article was mentioned in Foley's site on April 22nd. She claimed it had been taken from Wzor's site. But, at the end of her comment, she stated the "according to her sources", the apps would not be windowed.

Well, lol - firefox sucks, it is internet explorer 5 v2.0 of modern era, it is the worst and slowest browser, i got rid of it long time ago, such buggs, much slow ... Anyway, i dont no what ms is doing - going down or going down... too much and too fast, damn changes, when you get things the way you want, they just mess everything, not that i care about, i will use win7 for at least 10 years, and then will see, if this world is still going crazy and i need to take control into my on hands. In the mean time, have fun.

I would like to get a look at what MS is planning for the new start before I judge it. Right now I'm using ClassicShell for my start and it's serving me well. Hopefully MS can out do that.

I think that the general public only knows about the OS that was installed on their PC when the purchased it. The upgrade from 8 to 8.1, etc was likely not done by the majority of them. I could be very wrong but I just don't think your typical user wants to get involved with updates like the members of forums like this one.

Of course MS will have to do something. They want to sell it.That is the only way they know to get people into the MS clouds. Obvious to get it out and into the shops for Xmas. They will be aiming at the price point I advised a long time ago.

MS will have nothing sub 300.

And that is where the action will be.

Hi folks, VMware already supports this but now VirtualBox seems to do it as well... This is just to note that we can finally install Windows as a VirtualBox VM using UEFI. Latest changes in version 4.3.20 made this possible. After seeing that line I got pretty curious in giving it a...

I see various articles saying many different things but can someone direct me to the "horses mouth" where officials from MicroSoft confirm that the option to default boot direct to the desktop is in fact a reality in Windows 8.1? Thanks!
