Ah crap, I've found a flaw in my plan of not installing the update. I won't be able to bitch and moan if I don't stay up to date.... and my public will surely never stand for that...

To correct this, open Taskbar properties and turn off the option to show Store apps on the taskbar.

    Thanks for the link.

How can I add the four new tiles to the Start screen on my current profile?

There is a new group of Tiles that are added to a new user's Start screen for some of the more commonly-used settings/locations:

    • This PC (a.k.a. "My Computer")
    • PC Settings
    • Documents
    • Pictures
NOTE: You will *NOT* see these added to your established Start screen – only new profiles get these

One thing I wish they'd of brought back was live tile for OneDrive (formally SkyDrive). SkyDrive use to be a live tile till 8.1 was released; was hopping they'd brought it back with this update but seems that idea is dead. Also with they'd of given OneDrive more functionality like it was in Windows 7 & 8, but that too was killed off in the 8.1 release, never to be seen again in this release. Bummer

I like that it is much easier for those who use a mouse and do not have a touch screen

I have gone back to 8.1 as this update broke IE11 in both 8.1 and 8.1 Pro installations, IE11 wouldn't open at all in both laptops, I have posted in Microsoft community and see whether any solutions from them
EDIT: Got it at last by disabling windows defender and doing the update

This update (for me at least) was a smoothest update to windows ever. Not a single hitch anywhere.

As the title says upon checking for Updates I am getting Codes 801901F7 or 80072EE2 or 80072EFD which I believe is a problem with connecting with the MS server. Have ran the Troubleshooters, Reset, cleared the Cache, SFC and DISM, all reporting no problems. No connection problems either.
