Microsoft Officially Launches Surface 2 with LTE

Just like recent patents revealed, Microsoft is working on a Surface 2 tablet with LTE connectivity that would allow users to access Internet services on the devices on the go.

The company today revealed that a Surface 2 (AT&T 4G LTE) would be available starting tomorrow in the United States via retail stores, Microsoft’s online stores, and Best Buy.

As you could easily figure out from its name, the new device comes with LTE connectivity from AT&T and while no wireless contract is needed, word is that the mobile carrier might at some point launch a deal for the Surface 2 tablet.

Basically, the device boasts the same features as the Surface 2 and has exactly the same dimensions, although Microsoft says that it is a bit heavier than the standard model.
