Windows 8.1 update leaks to the web, direct from Redmond

The much-anticipated update to Windows 8.1, which is scheduled for release to the general public in early April, has leaked to the web early.

And this time the leak comes from an unexpected source: Microsoft itself.

Now comes age old question, Should I or should I not (update now, or wait another month, that is).

For me, I'm going to give it a try shortly. I'll be making a System Image beforehand (just in case). I should have it done in the next hour or so and I will update this thread with my findings and opinions.

"Bravehart" Eh. Ok will wait for your expertise on it, nobody is sure if it's all there as it will be at official time of release.

No expertise here... Just trial and error. It was curiosity that killed the cat but I have a few of my 9 lives left so I'll give it a whirl.

    Naw, it's only Windows Defender.
Weird thing is though, it was the largest update to download, it took the longest to install, THEN it started the repair loop.
Couldn't figure it out! Oh well, a quick 'wipe' and a quick re-install and I'm good! lol
