You sure paid a stiff price for that one. They must do something to get the dust off these boxes.

I logged in to Onedrive using Chrome, and there was no noticeable change except he name change from Skydrive to Onedrive. My free space remains the same and since my account is 5 years old, I could not get the 100GB bonus. My storage remains at 25GBs. That blows it man big time. Not making this sound like a sour grape, but with my Internet speed, I won't be keeping that many files on my Onedrive storage anytime soon apart from my important docs and artworks. I could still make a new account so I can get the bonus anyway if it was that of a big deal.

They should have at least added more layout options and themes on the ugly mertofied interface of my Onedrive folders.

I downloaded the android app and got the extra 3gb by enabling auto picture upload.

Unfortunately, I use 2 factor authentication on my MS account, yet the android app let me log in without asking for the rolling code from google authenticator. This seems like a serious flaw in today's hack-a-minute world! Is the iphone app the same way?

I was given 20GB yesterday and it is also limited for 1 year. I'm not sure this is a bad thing - it is better than nothing.

I also have dropbox, skydrive, tresotit, and a couple of others from Lenovo and Ubuntu. I want to consolidate so I'll have to pay to get the space I want. Having lots of different replication software is too complicated to manage for me - I'd like to have two only.

I've not decided which one to pay for yet though so I have a little time to think about it. SkyDrive is cheaper and I don't really care about privacy - the NSA is not interested in me. I don't use Google as their app just uses too much CPU on my Mac.

I downloaded the OneDrive app to my iOS device and enabled photo sync, but still I dont get the extra 3GB.
That stinks. But I did get 20GB extra for one year. So I currently have 27GB. And after one year, 7GB.
I dont know why I cant get the 3GB? Any ideas? I have uploaded pictures, so it should be activated but its not.

As far I know... the 3GB promotion is only for Android users (because it is a new feature to them).
For us both who doens't have Android, we can't grab this extra space! But I did receive the 20GB from them (that makes it 27GB) plus I got an extra 3GB for students promotion (those who have a .edu email address) for 2 years a couple months ago... so I have currently 30GB for my stuff! :P

Well, I reluctantly activated. (Not happy having my files stored on the web!), and got the 20gbs.

I hadn't done my homework, so I wasn't aware of the 2gb upload limit. For me, with files the size they are these days, this makes it rather a waste of time. I'll stay with my own uploading site.
