Too much time and money already invested to just give up and through it away. Plus its already been released and installed on OEM PC's. And finally, some of use actually like it, use it, and welcome the changes made. Me being one of them.

? But it is now one click to get there. "Change PC settings" that's two clicks?

It's in both places, well I assume it will be, they just added it to the other screen. It's still one click from the charms bar. Control panel shows up on some other screens too. Right click your desktop and select personalize. Control Panel Home shows up top left of the screen. I guess it saves you some back tracking if the setting your looking for isn't on the screen your on.

Me too have no problem with Win8 concept. Actually I think they are onto something with vertical screen splitting. Its much more effective than windows (especially if you are on OSX) and hopefully one day Desktop apps will be able to do that but for now side by side will do it. Everybody was flaming MS for introducing the ribbon but ribbon works better on side by side then lets say Photoshop that has tools and panels on left and right.

Well, I tend to use the charms as little as possible. Right click on the "Start" button gets me to the Control Panel.
The option through the "personalise, has always been there, in earlier OSs.

Thank you I missed #6 somehow.

Hmmm why you have to click Stop naming groups? Could you just click away in empty space to apply changes.?
This integration between Modern and Desktop is getting messy as we can see.

Do we know if this Update will recognize if you are clicking on a mouse or using touchscreen and behave accordingly? These changes kind of make no sense for touchscreen users so hopefully these changes come as alternative way of doing things instead of default as long as Windows can detect the input.

Right click on Start is the most powerful click one Admin can have

I have a shortcut to control panel on my Start Menu. I have room for it so why not. I don't know why Microsoft added it to that Menu. Somebody noticed it being added and pointed it out.

Desktop Programs can do it now. Open one and press the Windows Logo key and the left or right arrow key. They will go to half screen size. The Windows Logo key and the up or down arrow key will maximize minimize. Windows Logo key plus shift key and the left or right arrow key will move your open window from monitor to monitor.

Just a heads up, the one posted on MDL appears to be modified. There has been stuff added to it. Screen shots show an operating system selection screen too. You pick from 8.1 or 8.1 Pro. That's not something Microsoft normally does with Windows 8. I won't be touching it.
