It's much more refined than WDP. I now think M$ is going to make a good OS !

You can still do that. Hover your mouse at the top left and it shows the last App used. If you move the mouse down it shows thumbs of all open apps.

Finally released! FF says about 36 minutes left, downloading the 32-bit ISO to use on my ol' Athlon XP machine, she has been sitting there for awhile now.

Start menu is back!!!! Kinda C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX contains groups of shortcuts that will do just fine for me! Just slam your mouse pointer into the bottom left corner and RIGHT click!!!

    Hi there
downloading the ISO from Work -- 29 mins for the x-64 version we have decent download spped and for once MS servers don't seem overloaded. -- left the PC on after work and will copythe iso to a USB and install on my own machine on 1 Mar.

I prefer the ISO to the online install as I might want to try it on some different machines or even as a VM.

    Cheers

Just started the installation on my Athlon XP machine. Let's see how it goes.

EDIT: 20 minutes and it's barely at 23%.

My sound used to work in the consumer preview fine but since I upgraded to the Release Preview I need the volume max and headphones in to hear anything. Any help appreciated. If more info is needed just ask.
