    Windows 8 Developer Preview

I come to trusty eightforums.com and it seems you guys just started downloading it 2 hours ago. And now I am downloading it too with 40 min to go...and I didn't even know it'd be out today. Stopped using the preview ones months ago.

I hope the consumer version doesn't randomly freeze whenever I open videos.

Downloaded and configured. No Problems (so far!) Looks like I am going to have to hack to the old start menu again though.

I miss switching between Metro and Desktop by moving the cursor to left edge of the screen, they could have removed the Start button and left this feature alone.

Sweet we can use this version for 6 moths after release, and if we get a massive discount, i might buy it, the only problem seems to be that i already have precious 7 Ultimate.

I haven't got time to do anything with it this evening, so I'm going to set it to download overnight and I'll have a bash tomorrow afternoon.

My sound used to work in the consumer preview fine but since I upgraded to the Release Preview I need the volume max and headphones in to hear anything. Any help appreciated. If more info is needed just ask.
