[QUOTE=musiclover7;331688] I can do so much more with my Tab than I could with a windows tab it is not even remotely funny.

Sorry, but that's wrong, wrong, wrong!

Give me a plethora of peripheral device support from printers, external monitors, external graphics cards and more, as well as being able to run a VM, then we'll talk.

Until then, android is nothing more than where it should stay at: on preposterously huge smartphones.

There is a difference between versions here. It's like comparing a tablet to a desktop and then saying that the tablet sucks

Android and IOS are non-starters for me. No x86 support, no Adobe Flash (without workaround) and no sync with desktop on a tablet, also no built in Miracast, no stand or keyboard without a bulky add-on, etc.

I don't know what those hundreds of things are that Android does better, but they better bake a pie and fold my clothes for me to go back and re-consider it now.

Let me know when Android will run x86 apps and all drivers for my peripherals and have apps that work on a pc, tablet, and soon phone. I will run to it.

Until then, keep playing with your phone os.

You mean like Microsoft did with the addition of Windows 8 to their OS lineup? One size fits all isn't working out that well for Windows platforms.

Until they do. . . keep downloading those drivers!

Is that suppose to be a jab? Everything uses drivers... even your precious Apple toy.

    This, right here.

I'm don't buy into the notion of 10 inch tablet having the same capabilities as a smartphone. No one would have bought a netbook with an Atom processor back when they were more popular with an OS that would be nothing more than restriction, lack of features, and ultimately needed to be controlled by a PC.

If the day comes where both ios and android are ACTUALLY two stand-alone operating systems that DO NOT require a PC whatsoever for anything and can be used to do mass deployments and custom configurations of as well as having the ability to use any external device with; I'll reconsider. For right now, the two platforms are nothing more than just simple smartphone platforms intended for two things only: internet consumption and communications. Even then, they both are not as effective as using a Windows Phone for those two tasks...
