    The post on the NDTV Profit news channel site clearly states that according to the sources within Microsoft,the next Operating System will be cloud based. Rajan Anandan, MD of Microsoft India also added that “All new products from here on will be offered over the cloud, as well as on-premise. That’s a core strategy that we have adopted now”

    Starting to think the wise words of Stephen Fry now actually mean something...... he did say to gave 8 a miss and maybe the cloud is the reason why!!!

    Agree, hopefully the OS will be PC based with cloud options, a complete move to the cloud would be too drastic and very unappealing to many users.

    Sadly, most won't notice or care as long as it performs as they require....

    Now that I have expressed my opinion, I still think this is stupid.

    There is nothing wrong with CONNECTING to the cloud, but I like my fast file access speeds, THANK YOU.
