Gesture recognition to Windows too.

Microsoft doesn't just want to bring gesture recognition to the Xbox with Project Natal. It also wants the technology in Windows, according to a very good source--Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates.

Gesture recognition

:pPerfect for when tech support pisses you off. Can anyone say mooning Microsoft?:p

User dials Microsoft tech support(who now has live video feeds from the calling user)

Microsoft tech - How may I help you?
User - One moment please(turning the tables on phone customer service)

User now activates his "Gesture Recognition program(which starts zeroing in the webcam on the user)", proceeds to drop pants and moon the webcam which has zeroed in on the users movements. The user is now mooning the tech support rep.

Microsoft tech - Sir I do not believe I can help you with that. I will have to elevate this to a senior tech, do you mind if I place you on hold.

I doubt Natal will be the platform used. If this idea comes into fruition, the most realistic outcome will be MS partnering with many manufacturers to include cameras + sensors built-into monitors.

Another possibility could include a simple touchscreen desktop monitor, maybe with haptic feedback.
