I smell update coming to Windows 8.1 Retail that let's users set a different browser as default ie: Chrome or Firefox and still be able to use IE11 in Metro UI which really should have been included with Windows 8.1 Preview.

Chrome or Firefox can be set as default browser now with IE11 metro still usable.
I can see metro versions of Chrome and Firefox happening sometime soon with the option to set as default.

Avant browser gives the option to select which rendering engine you prefer.

Couldn't agree with you guys more.

I dislike Google with a passion. The only reason why I have a Gmail account is to backup my Droid because I dislike Vz backup services. Another blood-sucking corporation. One more month and my contract is up with them. I have my eye on a Lumia 1020 WP8. I'll find a small carrier for prepay service and it's adios to both of them for good!

Hey > Verizon! Can you hear me now?!!
You're right google amounts to a thief in my book, constantly getting you to agree to cookies and getting hi there this is how how we blah blah in the update service even though its off

unless i'm wrong isn't that called tracking??
