Based on the feedback from you and our partners, we’re pleased to announce that we will be making available our current Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 Pro RTM builds (as well as Windows Server 2012 R2 RTM builds) to the developer and IT professional communities via MSDN and TechNet subscriptions
Also, from the MSDN Blog Post:
The primary purpose of Windows 8.1 RTM and Visual Studio 2013 RC availability is for testing as our engineering teams continue to refine and update the product and tools in preparation for Windows 8.1 general availability on October 18 and the release of Visual Studio 2013 RTW.
So some confirmation that these are the current builds and they're still refining.

I think I may still wait for the Oct 18th version.

These are final versions safely, except Visual Studio 2013, logically.

Any link for Windows 8.1 Pro x64 - SPANISH? Thanks

Well... I have installed this version (Pro) several days ago. Java is coming up incompatible as well as several other add on's. Downloads are disappearing mysteriously and must be re downloaded 3 or 4 times before they take. I gotta say something is up with this. I'm about to roll back to straight 8.

No problems here on Surface Pro or desktop with leaked RTM a few days ago.

Actually, I take that back... pulse.me no longer lets me click sources in IE.

    Good thing there's the app.

By the way outlook test messages keep landing in my inboxes, I would assume that you've done a fresh install and are now at the setting up all the email account stage

Oh and my Media center is gone
I got the same watermark. Enabling Secure Boot and installing the default key under it in your UEFI settings will remove it.

To those that have just installed/upgraded... the difference is vast .. this kernel is out there in as far as stability and and lag is concerned...just using compilation times for various apps as a benchmark...

I've just downloaded the final 8.1 from Technet Plus. I'm aware that I will need to reactivate Media Center using that key after I install this. Does anyone know if I will lose personalizations such as Windows Vista Mail (hacked) and similar "Windows 7" hacks?
