    MS revs speedier, smarter speech recognition for phones

    Using a novel method that mimics brain functions, Microsoft researchers say they've doubled the speed at which speech is recognized and results are returned. They've also improved accuracy by 15 percent.

    I hope this same improvement is offered to MS Speech SDKs!

    I had gotten my eTower to respond to a bunch of Macros I programmed and it was working great - Until I decided to perform more Training, and then it would no longer respond to my voice. My Siri usually understands 90% of what I tell it to do and I've never trained it ever, it just remembers how I speak and keeps updating the profile.
