Microsoft hits the jackpot with Apple's iOS 7

Apple got all the headlines with the unveiling of iOS 7, but there's likely plenty of celebrating going on at Microsoft headquarters. When iOS 7 hits, it will be a big boost for Microsoft's struggling mobile efforts.
The big win for Microsoft in iOS 7 is that Bing will become Siri's default search engine. If you ask Siri a question and Siri can't find the answer, it searches the Web for the answer -- and Bing will deliver the results rather than Google. Currently Google is Siri's default search engine.

That's why I use GooGiri - An app that directs ALL Siri web searches to Google. Oh, I can't wait for iOS 7 to be Jailbroken. But Apple just seems to be burning it's bridges with Google. BING is an Ultra-INFERIOR search engine.

What MS does not factor in - Just like they do not factor how many Windows 8 PCs get Format C'd and Windows 7 Installed - Is that 90% of all new computer buyers IMMEDIATELY remove BING as the default search engine and install GOOGLE. The 10% that do not - simply don't know How, which is why they hire me to do it for them. This is one of the biggest requests I get when I work on PCs, "Make Google the Default Search Engine."

Despite some things that Google does that are not popular - They have one thing nobody else has - The best Search Engine in the world. At least many people agree with me on this point, and the ones who don't? Use Yahoo!

The closest thing to that would be linux - KDE mostly. I like it. Not enough to make me buy any Apple stuff, I might add.

I am not sure Bing is any less vile than google.

The look is completely different from 8.

Google is best for all forms of search for me
Bing is okay for a few extra images but seems restrained
MSN search tastes better than Yahoo
    Yahoo is

Bing, which I will now forever refer to as "Bung", is VOMITABLE. It does not give me usable results, never has, never will.

This is because Googol has the best Engine that responds to exactly what you type in - BUNG cannot do it. If you are looking for an exact Phrase. Maybe a Bible Verse you forgot where it was, or a phrase from a TV show you are trying to ID where it came from or if Q said it or not, or What Walter Bishop ate this AM- That can be found using Only Googol, whose Googolplex engine finds every idle comment on the net where those things you searched for have been posted.
