Leaked Windows Phone screenshot reveal notification center

Microsoft has previously admitted it "ran out of time" on a Windows Phone notification center, but it looks like the company is testing early future versions of Windows Phone with this feature in place. A Reddit user has posted a series of screenshots from a recently purchased Lumia 920 that appear to include an internal Windows Phone build. The software identifies itself as version 12084.WPMAIN(wpbldlab).20130509-1407, meaning it was compiled on May 9th. An early notification center can be seen in one of the screenshots, providing access to the typical Live Tile notifications.

Ugh...

I give it a major eye roll.

Seriously, there is SO VERY little actual need for a notification center. There is nothing that a properly utilized live tile can solve. You have notifications, they will either be on the lock screen, or the live tile. If it's not on either, that is a THIRD PARTY problem, not a first party one. If you need notifications from an app you do not have on your Start Screen, THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. That is what I like to call, "not knowing how to Windows Phone." Your Start Screen is your freaking notification center. You customize it to show what relevant needed notifications are needed through the live tiles. If you don't have that live tile on it, and you need notifications, what are you doing?!
