Try to edit a post here where you have 2 or 3 links in the post. It is a nightmare. I made it a habit now to answer only with very simple postings. Since I always have a lot of typos, I need to be able to easily and quickly correct my postings.
Sadly we use the newer vbulletin 4 here and we cant use the vb3 editor, we were hoping that there would be an editor update and fix in the next vbulletin version but they have left it out, until vbulletin pull their finger out there isn't much we can do.
Thanks John for the information. That is too bad because it is really painful to work with that editor. Can't we use the same engine as the one that is used for the sevenforums. That is much nicer anyhow. Sometimes progress is a step backwards.

Forgive me for going off topic whs, jab, jab, cough. I can see why you don't care much for or like Windows 8 if you think this editor is painful to work with. Seems easy to me to make any edit.

On topic: why limit the description to bold or arrogant?
I would add different, refreshing, visionary, beautiful (yes huhuh), useful, and OMG what? > easy to use !

Perhaps I am the wrong age, I am out of my first childhood, but not yet in my second.

Maybe I would like it then.

That's funny. But age has nothing to do with it as you are young and the OP is not. Experience levels don't seem to matter either. An inexperienced person might like it, or visa versa. An experienced person could do an autopsy on it while it is still alive - not post mortum but pre mortum. All these analytics are folly. They make a living doing it. I don't see what all the hub bub is with metro. It's not as if Windows 8 is the only thing that will be available for the next 20 years, what, what, Windows 7 will still be into service pack 5 and Windows 13 RTM will be available by 2024. Then there is Linux Ubuntu 23 and OSX 17 ... Oh I forgot Mint Apple Strudel 24.7

You put 3 in-line hyperlinks into your next posting and bold plus italicize a few words and then you edit it and tell me how you are doing.

Well, I find all that quite easy as I have already posted something like "hundreds" of screenshots that have been edited, resized, sharpened, resized again, renamed, reposted, removed, added, re screenshotted, resized, reposted, underlined links, reconfigure quote bars, go to tutorials to get relevant help links, ...
it's all fun, easy, and a hobby to me.

Different personalities will be affected differently by Windows 8. As the article points out, there are +'s and -'s based on a point of view. There is no question 8 is very polarizing.

I don't think it's really arrogance, because I don't think they made the change for their own sake (at least from their perspective) They did it because that's where computing is going, and sometimes people need to be brought kicking and screaming into the future.
