She was also on this sevenforum and got banned there too.

Why you should say no to Windows 8 and stick with Windows 7.

Yes of course. My point was that touch screen is great, if not unavoidable, in any situation when you don't have the possibility to lay a mouse carpet. It's great technology. But whenever you can get a mouse, the mouse is better.
Same with keyboards: physical keys and buttons are always easier to press than those drawn on a touchscreen. I would not say "I hate" touch screen, no, but I always found them less reliable than real buttons. JMO.
The mouse isn't better for me over touch, at all. If anything, it becomes tedious to do repetitive tasks, annoys me when I draw up house plans in AutoCAD all day, ridiculous to try to fine tune an image in Photoshop by trying to select a small element within it, and also might be giving a touch of carpal tunnel in my right wrist.

Get a scrollball mouse. That's easy on the wrist. Believe me. That's all I use.

Those are BY FAR too weird for me to use. I don't think those are really made anymore are they? All I remember about those was that Bill Gates used them and I think those were supposed to replace the standard mouse with that.

But I have to say, using Windows with touch doesn't give me any issue with my wrists whatsoever. It's that tedious repetitive holding of the mouse for long periods of time that does it for me.

Sure they are still being made. I have 3 of those:
