BTW the STORE doesn't work so far in "Blue" -- not that I'm bothered -- can't see myself using that stuff anyway -- and Ms isn't going to be able to force big companies like Adobe to distribute their software through the store either.

The Windows Store already hosts Adobe's entire collection of their Creative Suite....

the dailytech article is showing 8 simultaneous windows store apps in a multimonitor configuration:

DailyTech - Windows Blue Build Leaks, Shows Off UI Tune-Up

The concept has been extended to allow a 4-app snapped configuration. What's more, the snap-fest can extend to up to 8 simultaneously snapped apps in a multi-monitor setup.

I'm used to Metro and I like it, but I downloaded the trial earlier today just top check it out. It's nice to have a second way to run Metro apps, especially when you need them side by side with other desktop windows. It's not only for Metro haters.

I was playing around with Windows Blue beta yesterday and notice boot times is faster than Windows 8 on SSD (without fast boot), I usually get three circles in Windows 8 with a faster SSD with Windows Blue beta I get two circles with a slightly slower SSD which means Blue starts up faster from cold boot and restart.

ATM, Avast 8 does not install and Start8 does not work with Windows Blue beta.

Yes, Avast doesn't work, but AVG 2013 works fine.

Classic Shell also doesn't work, but ViStart 8.1 does.

I noticed faster boot time too, and memory footprint is lower too (~420 MB on 2GB VM - VMWARE 9).

I didn't get DotNet 3.5 installed via "Add Features", needed to do via CMD prompt:

    DISM /Online /Enable-Feature /FeatureName:NetFx3 /Source:d:\sources\sxs

The new control panel.. did they simply add the app with the new interface, or did they also change the interface for the one accessed via the desktop?
