It's just a funny thing to say, a tablet is much quicker and easier to just post a few words on a forum, I don't care what tablet it is, as long as its a recent tablet. What does it matter what the tablet can do above and beyond typing in a couple of words.

Plus you've already made it public knowledge that the Surface is almost unusable as far as you're concerned.

It's the keyboard and the touchpad that are lacking for me on the Surface. The full keyboard and the much larger touchpad on the Chromebook make it more comfortable. Not to mention, I can use the chromebook on my lap in the chair with my feet propped up, cannot do the same with the Surface.

LOL, that's the typical executive position.

It's never been effective on me. I've not bought a single personal Apple product in my life. I've considered them multiple times, and even came close to a MacBook Air on a couple of occasions, but always decided against them. I don't use iTunes, i don't buy anything from the Apple store. I wouldn't move to an Apple phone unless Apple sponsored me.

With all that said, I can certainly see the appeal their products have for a lot of people. Just because I don't buy them and have always decided against them in my evaluations, does not make them rubbish.

But it's all too often how I sit and use these devices at home. Either lying in bed, or sitting in the recliner with my feet propped up. Try that with a Surface Pro (or RT), with the keyboard attached and tell me how that works out for you. It's like trying to write on a piece of paper that is hanging in mid air by a string. Not effective, at all.

I bet BillWindows knows how to do that.

Unlike some people I use a tablet the way it's meant to be operated, with touch. If I was writing a novel I'd probably attach a keyboard and mouse, otherwise I whip it out with one hand and start typing on the screen like I'm doing now.

So if you're lying in bed or on a recliner, you're telling me you need a keyboard, come on now. I think you need a guide on how to use a tablet.

I wonder if that guy who came down from the mountain needed a keyboard to type out the 10 Commandments on his tablet.

To type effectively, yes I want to use a physical keyboard. You might be fine with slow typing, but I flat out guarantee that my responses are taking me a fraction of the time that they are taking you.

Even with such a small response as above, on a real keyboard that took me no more than about 5 seconds.

I can't even read that fast let alone type that fast, I very rarely use a keyboard to type on this or any other forum, especially when I'm in bed or lounging around.
