yes it was. Not only that, I sm using the. Keyboard with all ten fingers. I'm not correctingna mistakes, I've closed the browser three times by hitting the windows key , brought up the weather app, the finance app accidentally . its probably tkane me about two minutes thus far t omake this fespons. So you've gone from mumbo jumbo to 72wpm and 94% accuracy in a matter of no time at all. So that would make the Surface Pro a magic machine.

You've now given it a AAA rating.
Um, are you paying attention? Earlier I was using the on-screen keyboard on the surface pro itself. That is what resulted in the mumbo jumbo. The 72wpm result is from attaching the type cover physical keyboard and typing with that. I am simply demonstrating why touch and I are not best buds.

Yes, I have seen that. The author is funny.

Many 8 machines are having big cuts 349 down to 249, that kind of thing.

Can't tell yet if it is helping much.

I'm not real good on English, but I think I know the basics.

    This is my interpretation.

You were trying to deride the Surface Pro by pointing out that it was next to useless when typing, hence the rubbish above.

Unfortunately it backfired on you by admitting that you can type 72wpm at 94% accuracy.

Please tell me where I've gone wrong.

Anyway this has nothing to do with the Surface Pro, there are women that can type twice as fast as you with their thumbs on a smartphone.

"Go ahead tell us all about it, try not to be too positive."

I might not know English but I know people, that's why I made the above sarcastic comment, I knew what you would do..

And hey, who cares, Ray8 would have been a lot harsher in his criticism.
I'll take it off your hands if you don't like it.

And the cheap versions of the Surface Pro with the name SAMSUNG on it look exactly that.. cheap. Low resolution, the connecting of the keyboard to the tablet look like more of a gimmick than anything else.. like some mechanical engineer's idea of a first draft. You may start to see the OEM's get point-blank frozen out of certain markets by their own laziness of design.

Personally, when it came time.. i didn't even have to think twice about the Samsung and Lenovo selections, I just bought the one from Microsoft(and waited a week for it to ship), that is very well-designed, but may cost more.

Are you sure that is why.

Did you epect them to try and put one out at $2000, or did you expect them to go head on with MS?
If they are going to bring one out a lower price point - no surprise it isn't the same quality - there is also the little matter of the license fees hampering what they can spend on it.

"It's possible [Microsoft] is making changes to the OS [to allow a boot to desktop mode]...Certainly if you talk to PC vendors, they'd like to see Microsoft do that."

Microsoft may "stick to its guns" and leave everything pretty much as is, O'Donnell added. Pride goes before the fall.

Quite a lot of us have been pointing that out for a long time.

    That is number 1.
Number 2 is get these things in at the right price points.
