    Yes, we understand, Bill.

You need your little fisher price squares.

This doesn't necessarily mean you won't have any help

Nothing can save Windows 8 now

No this is what I need.
Santa Claus is going to be loaded down with Apple products this year. Nearly half of kids aged 6-12 said they want an iPad this year, while nearly a quarter of kids aged 13 or over said the same thing..

I would rather have a new version of Windows - one the customers actually want.

    Here's the clue :

Nearly half of kids aged 6-12 said they want an iPad

Nothing can save Windows 8 now

I read that story yesterday, but it was positive, amazing how clowns put a different slant on things. It points to a recovery later in the year.

Amazing how people interpret the complete opposite of what is actually written:

IDC is among the most-optimistic analyst firms with respect to Windows 8 leading to a PC rally later in the year. But today's revised forecast feels more like denial, which wouldn't be the first time. Analysts there also underplayed tablet competition after iPad launched and in less than the last 12 months revised tablet shipment forecasts upward four times -- again, just last week.

Windows 8 was supposed to save the PC market. But roles are reversed. With about 80 percent of operating system revenue coming from personal computer sales, Microsoft's options are limited. Short of divine intervention, nothing can save Windows 8 now.
But then that's par for the course, for some, on this forum.

That was just his take, anybody can make stuff up. Some people are really good at that.

Like a Windows 7 lover scorned.

You can always hope, even I hope it will be better, but I think it's not too bad for a Version One of an almost new operating system. I certainly don't have the problems some claim.

As far as tiles go, get rid of the whole lot, I really think it's time to accept it for now and just wait, no amount of bashing can make things move any faster. I was reading a story about Photoshop some time ago, if they wanted to rewrite that it would take 10 years, so imagine the amount of work in Windows.
