There are some givers out there - Felix Dennis is another.

Like they say in Glasgow - there's no pockets in a shroud.

It's true... His, so called fortune, is what he might currently have, but he gives billions and billions away every year. The tax man takes 10 billion and he gives 30 billion to charity. I think he can live on 10 billion.

I've been watching this for years, ... check out the annual salary of Bill Gates during the birth of Windows and during the growth of Windows 98, 2000, NT, Windows Server, Office, etc...
I bet that the figure shown in your link represents the value of his shares etc that he had at the time ie net worth. It may well have been worth $50+ billion per year, but that wouldn't have been his actual annual salary.

This is probably closer to the truth: Bill Gates Net Worth and Salary - Piggysalary - Piggysalary.

Help me with some math, 3 billion 710 million annually divided by 365 = about 10 million dollars a day.
    Does this make any sense?

Don't worry about it Ray's always right, just agree with whatever he says, he's a smart fellow.

Unlike some people, I check facts (as best as they are available), rather than pull figures from a dark, wet, place, before insinuating anything about the figures or people who are presenting such:

Bill Gates Net Worth is $66,000,000,000, and Bill Gates Salary 2012 is $3,710,000,000.

Okay, how much has he given away.

Boy that a bad patch in 2012, I doubt I could survive on that.

I was just about to say, Windows 8 is so simple, even a untrained monkey can use it.

Now I wonder what that has to say about certain humans...

Funny how for some, when they get caught out, the only defence they can muster up is to change the subject.

Bill Gates is like the second most wealthiest man on earth, and literally said he has no use for money other than his charity work.
