    According to WinBeta, 6.2.8047.0.winmain.110714-1905 was compiled 07-14-2011. This is an internal build and has not leaked yet.

    Apparently not. Builds past 8000 quite some time ago. Beta will probably be 8100 this time around.

    That's what I am thinking. Maybe a public beta or tech beta during "build" evemt September. Ether way will we see that beta build on the running everywhere.

Does the build version change when updates have been installed, or do i have to reinstall windows 8 again when a new version comes out?
