This is oddly enticing... even though I could go without having another monthly subscription....

for Home Premium 100$ a year for 5 PC's? that is on par and cheaper than buying upgrades every few years.

If you're a student: $79 for four years. That is legitimate. Too bad anything I do school-related work on is a Mac. I guess I could always fire up Parallels for when I write a paper...

Yes, you can install it, yes you can use it while NOT connected to the internet, unless you need to save or get stuff from Skydrive.
Yes you can save stuff to your HDD.

That is the best deal on the planet for a full Office Suite.
