You sit down to your notebook and open Internet Explorer without moving the cursor. Then you start scrolling down your favorite website simply by looking up and down. These are just two of the things the Tobii Rex will let consumers do when it launches later this year. We went eyes-on with this peripheral at CES 2013 and were blown away by just how accurate Rex is.
Hi there
wonderful for a paraplegic with extremely limited hand movement ability but for me -- No thanks -- I'll pass on this one -- and I usually LIKE new technology.
Note also sitting at a computer isn't the most healthiest way of passing your day either -- so by eliminating what tiny physical energy is left by removing hand and arm movement in replacing mouse and keyboard with "eyeball movement" won't be good for you either.
This will lead to the "increasing zombification" of us all.
Note Steve Hawking (the well known severely disabled cosmologist) has been using these types of devices for YEARS so its nothing new.
