The decision was straight forward for me. I liked what I saw and even though I had an issue with my WLAN driver during installation (corrupted networking configuration) I still used it. The issue with the WLAN is now fixed. It's pretty unique and the metro screen fits my needs.
Runs much faster then Win7 or Vista ever did on my Compaq Presario. The quick start up is bonus as well.

When people ask me if they should upgrade to Win8, my question to them is "What is Win7 not doing that you want it to do?". They usually say "Win7 is fine, I have no issues with it", and to that I answer ""stick with Win7". Not too many have asked me this question because most people I know are running an older PC with WinXP or Vista on it and they can't afford to or don't want to upgrade.
