Win 8 Is 84% Less Frustrating Than Win 7,Says Bogus Report

The Washington Post should be ashamed of itself for running a puff piece to promote Windows 8. I was mortified when I saw the headline, "Windows 8 is 84 percent less frustrating than Windows 7, report says."

Really? A brand new OS just now getting into play is less frustrating than Windows 7 by 84 percent? How can this number possibly be calculated in so short a time?

I used to do something very similar Andy, now I'm just slowly wearing out the Windows Key on my keyboard.
That report sounds a bit far fetched to me?

I run it in a dual boot with Windows 7. Its there so I can access it to help others here on this forum. I need to know how it works to give an informative answer. I dare say there are people here that aren't running it, and may have never run it. Just because someone is on a Windows 8 forum doesn't necessarily mean they are running Windows 8. A lot of forum members took advantage of Microsoft's try before you buy option. Some may not like it but are hoping it gets easier to use the more you use it. I hated it at first, now I just don't like certain aspects of it. I won't go out and buy it, but if my next PC comes with it preinstalled I'll likely leave it be.

It is true that many people are still using the free Preview Version n a dual-bot, but they don't like it. I suggest that you download the free e-book Windows 8 for Dummies. It explains how to use the Start Page correctly, and that's what I do now with 8 Pro.
