I have so many old Windows XP retail disk and key here, I'm checking if Windows 8 is good for folding , if so I may give them to folders friends I know so they just purchase an update at $ 40. Folding is for a good cause .

They should just keep the price low to encourage people to buy it. I mean windows 7 being 200 was a huge drawback. I think most people however probably just buy a new system that already has it so that they don't have to pay for the operating system too. But for people who have a computer they already like and don't need a new purchase a lower price for windows 8 would bring in new customers. Too bad the low price is a limited time offer.

Hi All: I've read the pertinent tutorials. I simply want to get a Win8 Pro product key and ISO (64-bit) without running the upgrade assistant and installing files on a computer suitable for use in obtaining the 64-bit version but upon which I probably will not want to install Win8.
