ESXi 5.0 - do I need to update to ESXi 5.1?
I don't have W8 as a dropdown on my ESXi menu and I'm getting a lot of bugs and issues to the point that I can't even install the RP as a VM.
Seems that everyone is able to run W8 on some flavor of a free hypervisor but I'm striking out finding info on ESXi. I've been able to get it working on earlier versions (CP and DP) but I don't want to go through the effort again for the RP.
Is there an easy fix or tutorial that I'm missing?

I have been running Windows 8 on ESXi 4.1 without problem. It won't show in the dropdown, but I just pick Windows 7 64bit as it's the next closest thing. You shouldn't need to be on 5.1 to run it.
