Win 8 RP installed in VMware player.

This message appears each time I started the Win 8, yet there is no issue opening it.
Like to know what causes the message and how to fix it.

The cause may be HYPER-V. Go into Programs and Features and turn off HYPER-V. Good luck.

Nope. Not Hyper-V. Win8 is a VM and you cannot enable Hyper-V in a VM. t-4-2 uses Win7 as a host. ;)

I saw that dozens of times. It's when the ISO is deleted from that folder or if it was moved to another folder BUT VMware Player still uses that file in the settings.

Go to settings -> CD rom options and see it there. You can remove it, use the host drive or use another (existent) ISO file.

No big issue as you already said.
Good luck

Win 8 RP iso was never moved.
It was saved at Download folder since day 1 and it is still there.

How do I go to Settings > CD rom options ?
I don't see CD rom option under Settings.

Yes, found it.
Switched to Physical Drive. Apparently that is the solution. No error message appears upon starting Win 8.

Thank you.
