    newbie question

I have just installed Win 8 Preview 32-bit into VMware .
I have absolutelyno idea to use it. Absolute Newbie.

    For now, just one question....
When I wanted to get ou of Win 8, I clicked the X at top right.
I would have a message asking me to confirm if I want to " suspend "the virtual machine and exit.
I would click Yes, and it would say something like " saving virtual machine state ..."

    What's up with that ?
Can I not just exit without the hoopla ?

If you want to do a normal shutdown, just move your cursor to the bottom right (in Windows 8) and click on the gear icon. Then, click on the power option. After that, click Shut Down.

Here is my silly question :
If I choose the Sleep option, how do I " wake " it next time ?
Just open the VMware and it will bring me right back to last window before " sleep " started ?

Whe n you open the VM again, it will resume right where you left off if you chose sleep.
