Anyone using the word dram in right context (as not an IT term) gets my respect .

This is interesting, as I have not done anything of consequence to this system.
The only three things of any possible consequence (don't see how) that were done was
in Services I changed Hyper-V guest shutdown service from manual(trigger) to automatic(trigger),
Killed the two processes in task manager per Karis' suggestion,
Removed an odd program I came across named PureLeads.
Oh, and restarted my desktop again but that's been done frequently anyway.
The original vm has the OS on it now and I've been successful in shutting it down, and restarting it
And was able to create another new vm from start to mostly finished (the OS is in). Have some messages
to update integration services but first will do more testing.

There's a big difference between a dram of whisky and DRAM. Everyone knowing the difference has earned my respect .

RemoteFX when enabled needs additional virtual hardware to be installed on vm. If you have RemoteFX enabled, open the settings for your vm (it must be shut down or turned off), select Add Hardware on the left pane, select RemoteFX Video Adapter on the right pane (list of devices), click Add, click OK.

See screenshot below, notice that as I have no Windows Server virtual machines this example screenshot does not show RemoteFX Video Adapter but is here only to show where and how you should find it:

    Attachment 46767

Your vm should be able to boot now.

Has anybody solved this issue? I saw that you were trying to figure out why RemoteFX wasn't in the list for Add Hardware on the VM settings, but I never saw anyone post if they finally figured it out. Been working on this stupid thing for weeks.
