Install Windows 8 on a Virtual Machine?

OK, so I finally got my copy of Window 8 Pro from my school, and am wondering if I can try it out on a virtual machine? If so, which virtual software would you recommend?

    Thanks.

    Hello Drew,

Sure, you could install it on a VM if you like.

    I like VMware Player.

It is the best choice looking at price (free), performance (vm graphics) and integration tools (drag 'n' drop mostly). Especially if Win8 is the VM.

Thanks Shawn, I'll give it a try this weekend and see how it goes.

    Later.

Wow! Seems I have a lot to learn and get used to with W8.

BTW install through VMW was petty straight forward, easy, and quick. And this is on my spinner drive. I haven't activated the OS yet seeing how I may move it to a conventional drive or PC. Will probably put it on my backup PC.

    Thanks.

LOL, yeah it's a bit to get used to, but once you do, it's pretty nice.

This may help in the mean time though.
