    Password help

I put in my password and am 100% that it is correct but it says wrong password. This happened once before and the only way I was able to fix it was a full system reset. Anyone know how I can fix it without a full reset.

    Hello Anthony,

Is this for a Microsoft account or local account?

If Microsoft account, then see: Change or reset the password for your Windows Live ID

If local user account, then see: User Account - Reset Password in Windows 7 - Windows 7 Forums

    Hope this helps,

This is for a microsoft account. Also I can use the password and it works for refresh and reset but fails when I try to login any other way inclucin recovery and safe mode. I'm just gonna do a reset but would like to know what to do case this happenes again.

Hmm, odd it would work for that but not at sign in. You might enable the built-in Administrator account for now to have as a backup.
