help with win 8

My dad passed away month ago..
My parents own a business my dad took care of somethings for business on his laptop..
The problem is my mom has to take over the business her self now she doesn't know my dads windows 8 user login password.
I tried [ command prompt ] from recovery it ask for same password.

Is there away to setup a new user account. then we don't need to know his password..

Welcome to the forum. When you try and login is it a ms account ie an email address? if it is did he use anyother pc if he did and logged into his email in a browser it may have his login password saved it will be that one
