Solved How to remove MS Account Pasword from Windows 8.1

I have a Latitude 10 ST2 tablet that I set up originally with my MS Account Password and wish to give away. I would like to created a new user account and remove my MS Account Password access.

How is this best done?

Since you're giving the laptop away, it would be best to reset Windows 8 and set up a dummy account during the reset for the new owner to use to set up their own account later.

Giving it to family member and would like to keep everything intact. I have a lot of their stuff on it already.

These little tablets are only $75 refurbished on Ebay and are like new.

In that case, you could create a new account, make it an administrator account, sign in to the new account, and delete your account.
