Just recieved a Win 8 laptop that should be a member of our domain, but I am completely unable to access it.
The login screen shows only 3 users (that are not available) and there is no "other user" selection. I connected a network cable and it showed a working connection. Then I tried to reset the password for 1 of the users in the AD but I still receive wrong password on the laptop. Also remote desktop fails to connect with my domain admin user.
Going into safe mode also only brings up the 3 user login screen.
Is there any other way than restoring factory defaults?
